The role of ATC Director is to coordinate the Air Traffic Control section of the Association and represent our members currently employed by Airways New Zealand.
About Jim Dunn
I have been an ALPA member since I started controlling in 1986. I have worked in Nelson Tower, the old Wellington Centre as an Area controller, Christchurch Centre as a both Wellington and Auckland approach controller along with Auckland Centre before it’s closure. I have also spend time in general aviation as a flight instructor as well as one year with Air New Zealand as a First Officer on the F27.
My time with ALPA has been spent primarily on the ATC Council and Board of Management, with 10 years as ATC Director.
I am married with two grown children.
