Byron pursued a career in law later in life, following a successful tenure as a chef. Driven by a desire to give back to the community, he found joining NZAPLA aligned with his values and goals. Byron values how the law, when approached thoughtfully, can enhance quality of life for those around him, and he has a particular passion for legal research. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking at home and spending quality time with his fiancée and young son.
