The NZALPA Annual Conference is the premier event on the NZALPA calendar. Conference combines union business with discussion from industry and social functions. Rules and information relating to Conference are detailed in the Conference section, Rules 22 - 28, of the NZALPA Rules (login required).
Who can attend?
All union members are able to attend the conference although only the representative/elected delegates are able to vote on union business.
Registration for Conference has now closed.
Conference sign in will commence at 0800 on Wednesday 23 June. Conference is to start at 0900 and scheduled to finish on Thursday 24 June at 1700.
Departure travel should not be arranged prior to 1700 on Thursday 24 June.
The Formal Dinner will be held at the Sofitel Hotel. The Hon Michael Wood (Minister of Transport and Minister of Workplace Relations and Safety, MP for Mount Roskill) will be our Guest Speaker. This function is for NZALPA members in representative/delegate positions and invited guests only.
Travel and accommodation costs for NZALPA members in representative/delegate positions will be at the cost of NZALPA. All observers (that is those not in representative/delegate positions) are to arrange their own travel and accommodation and cannot attend the functions.
