Review of CAA fees, levies and charges

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is reviewing the fees, charges and levies it imposes as New Zealand’s aviation safety regulator. The review is focused on enabling the CAA to do its work over the period 1 July 2020 – 30 June 2023.

It is effectively proposing a 3.5 percent increase across the board, but with significant increases and charges relating to the agricultural sector and for upgrades relating to the running of the aviation security identity card scheme.

Although NZALPA will make a submission, individual members are encouraged to respond – particularly where their particular situation is affected by the proposals. The closing date for submissions is 14 February 2020.

Read more about the review as well as information on how to respond to the proposals HERE.
