AIR NEW ZEALAND REGIONAL – Solicitor/Advocate Joy Walpole Leva’a
This year we ratified the first single regional turboprop pilot collective agreement (replacing the Mount Cook and Air Nelson CEAs), and all members are now employed by Air New Zealand Ltd. A huge congratulations to all those involved over the past few years for your hard work and persistence.
AIR NZ SIM INSTRUCTORS – Solicitor/Advocate Joy Walpole Leva’a
Negotiations have commenced for an inaugural simulator instructor collective agreement. We have met with Air New Zealand several times over the past few months and made good progress. Bargaining continues online via Teams.
AIRWAYS (AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL) – Solicitor/Advocate Joy Walpole Leva’a
Due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19 preventing regional travel, NZALPA and Airways have agreed
to postpone the continuation of bargaining until January 2022.
AIRWAYS (FLIGHT SERVICE) – Solicitor/Advocate Joy Walpole Leva’a
This is the first round of bargaining with all four Flight Service units, to put them on the same collective agreement. We initiated bargaining on 27 August and have met with Airways to discuss both parties’ interests. Bargaining continues online in December via Teams.
JETSTAR – Solicitor/Advocate Joy Walpole Leva’a
Due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19, bargaining is on pause until there is more certainty about flying the Tasman.
JETCONNECT – Solicitor/Advocate Joy Walpole Leva’a
The Jetconnect pilot group recently ratified a three-year roll over of their Collective Agreement (till 2024). Thank you to the Jetconnect Council for their work on this.
