Air Nelson – Advocate, Mark Dignan

Negotiations between Air Nelson and NZALPA concluded before Christmas.  The new agreement was successfully ratified 24 November 2017.

The Security of Employment / Regional Seniority List working group has completed their body of work and will be presenting at base meetings in preparation for the member ratification process.  Base meetings are scheduled for late January and early February.

Interest- based problem solving sessions are scheduled throughout 2018 to address outstanding issues and will ultimately lead into negotiations for a single collective employment agreement with Mount Cook.

Mount Cook – Advocate, Mark Dignan

Negotiations between Mt Cook and NZALPA concluded before Christmas.  The new agreement was successfully ratified 24 November 2017.

Negotiations concluded between Jetconnect and NZALPA before Christmas 2017.  Following the base meetings, the ratification process commenced on 11 January 2018.

Jetstar Regional – Advocate, Adam Nicholson

Negotiations were successfully concluded on 16 January 2018. Ratification to follow.

Air New Zealand – Advocate, Adam Nicholson

The earliest date for Initiation of Bargaining is 17 March 2018.  Preparation and informal discussions with the Company are ongoing.

Air Traffic Control – Advocate, Adam Nicolson

The earliest date for initiation of bargaining is 3 February 2018.  Preparation, member meetings and claim development are ongoing.

VANZ – Advocate, Adam Nicolson 

The earliest date for initiation of bargaining is 15 June 2018.

Air Freight Limited – Advocate, Tom Buckley

NZALPA initiated bargaining with Air Freight Limited on 20 December 2017.

Massey School of Aviation – Advocate, Tom Buckley

NZALPA is preparing claims for Massey School of Aviation and will be initiating bargaining to renew the current collective agreement in early February.

Canterbury Aero Club – Advocate, Tom Buckley

NZALPA will be preparing claims in January to renew the collective agreement for Canterbury Aero Club shortly thereafter.
